Corrections & Clarifications Policy

MoneyAllotment is committed to swift, transparent, and prominent correction of any factual errors across all published articles, calculators, and analytical dispatches.

1. Our Standard for Corrections

When an error of fact (such as an incorrect statistic, misstated policy date, inaccurate formula, or misspelled name) is identified:

  • Immediate Remediation: The article is corrected immediately upon verification by senior editorial staff.
  • Prominent Notice: An explicit Correction Notice is appended to the bottom (or top for major errors) of the article, specifying the exact nature of the error, the date corrected, and the original inaccurate statement.
  • No Silent Edits: We do not engage in unacknowledged "silent edits" of substantive factual material.

2. Updates vs. Corrections

Financial and macroeconomic news evolves continuously. We distinguish between updates and corrections as follows:

  • Update / Developing Story: When new information becomes available (e.g. a central bank rate announcement following market close), the story is marked with an "Updated [Date/Time]" timestamp.
  • Correction: When information originally published was factually incorrect at the time of writing, an official correction log is recorded.

3. How to Submit a Correction Request

We welcome reader scrutiny. If you believe you have discovered a factual error, please contact our editorial desk with:

  • The URL of the article in question.
  • The specific sentence or figure believed to be in error.
  • Authoritative primary source documentation verifying the accurate figure.
